The construction of GYTC8S optical cable is that 250µm optical fiber is sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. A layer of water-blocking tape is added to the outside of the loose tube, and then a layer of plastic-coated steel (PSP) is used to wrap it longitudinally, and the steel wire is integrated into an 8-shaped polyethylene sheath to form a cable.
